Main Control

SKU

This module allows you to capture the commodities profile. The system will also help you manage a multi-level packing configuration with the ability to associate Universal Product Code (barcode) for different unit of measure (UOM) pertaining to the same commodity. Once correctly assigned, most of the warehouse tasks can be initiated by simply scanning the commoditys packing UPC. A comprehensive UOM structure will also help you setup and direct putaway and picking to specific locations configured to only manage a specific that UOM.

IMAGE
Front View + Side View + Top View

This module will also help you manage graphic images associated with a commodity. Each commodity can hold an infinite number of images. This gives flexibility in terms of storing different images (for example, Front view, Side View) per commodity. The captured images can be retrieved via a PDA or workstation browser during stock enquiries.

ZONE
Poison, Bulk, Dry

A zone is a collection of locations. A zone can be configured to enforce proper and efficient goods physical putaway or physical picking. Examples of zones are Poison, Perishables, Cold room, Chiller, Over height, Bulk area, ASRS.

BOM
Cart = 1 Body + 4 Wheels

This module allows you manage the bill of material required for kitting and assembly or component picking. Once a BOM is created, the related component items and their respective quantities will be mobilized whenever the BOM code is referenced.

SITE
Regional Hub, Satellites

This system has the ability to manage multiple warehouse sites. The sites can be configured as physical sites located geographically apart or logical sites located within the same facility. Logical sites can help you segregate and manage your stocks more effectively based on the nature of the business or financial and accounting requirements.

LOT
Serial#, Expiry, Batch, Lot

This module also allows you to manage up to 8 lot attributes per commodity. Examples of lot attributes are Manufacturing Date, Expiry Date, Manufacturing Batch Number, Serial Number, Customs Lot. Once the lot attributes are configured, the system will enforce track-and-trace policy on the movement of these lot attributes from the time the goods is received into the warehouse to the time it is dispatched from the warehouse. A comprehensive track-and-trace policy will allow easy recall of goods when the need arises. A proper lot control strategy will also ensure that goods are chronologically rotated base on date time attributes of the goods.

LOCATION

This module allows you to schedule and plan your dock activities for Inbound Receipts and Outbound Issues. Via a graphical interface, you can see the volume and intensity of scheduled dock activities across all docks, over different unloading or loading dates.

DOCK

With a comprehensive partner setup, the system can make use of the characteristics defined to drive how a transaction related to a partner can be effectively handled.

Putaway & Allocation Strategy

PUTAWAY
Guiding the putaway

This module allows super-users to control how goods upon receipt are putaway to the most optimum location. Designing a putaway strategy typically involves a good understanding of the warehouse location maps, the commodity profile as well as the order profiles. A good system guided putaway strategy improves warehouse efficiencies and reduces misplaced inventory surprises. Depending on the requirements, you can configure the system to direct all putaway to specific zones, directly into pick-faces or even put into quarantine or holding area awaiting inspection.

ALLOCATION

One of the most crucial functions within the warehouse is the ability to fulfill orders with high accuracy, efficiency and always on time. A flexible allocation algorithm will allow super-users to configure the right rotation of stocks according to FIFO, FEFO rules or any other specific criteria that is typically agreed upon by the owner of the goods.

Inbound

ALLOCATION

This module manages all inbound goods receipts into the warehouse. The receipt details can be manually entered or populated from an external electronic source via our Interface module. Goods can be received at various UOM levels with independent lot attributes registered. Receipt finalization can also be effected at UOM level to provide for urgent receipt of small quantities without affecting the entire receipt. You can also make use of Transport Unit fields to track mix SKU contained within cartons which are in turn seated on a unique pallet that also needs to be tracked. In this scenario, once you have assigned the goods to their respective carton and pallet ids, the system will be able to track and move the associated goods give the correct carton or pallet id.

PUTAWAY

This module will direct all finalized receipts to their optimal locations based on rules configured in the system. Typically, the system can make use of zone, location dimension, location status and SKU profile to optimally suggest the best-fit location for a particular receipt line. The system can be configured to make use of transport units as the basis for the putaway.

RETURN

This module manages reverse logistics in the form of delivery rejects, trade returns or cancelled order (after pick). Scheduled collection of returns goods can be manually entered or populated from an external electronic source via our Interface module. Alternatively, you can populate the return based on an existing issue order.

Outbound

ISSUE

This module manages all outbound goods issued from the warehouse. The order details can be manually entered or populated from an external electronic source via our Interface module. You can specify the allocation of discrete criteria such as serial number, batch number or even minimum shelf life conditions for individual SKU.

ORDER PLAN

This module assigns pick tasks to the available picking resources. Once a picking resource is assigned a pick task, the system will track the task from the start of the assignment till the time the task is completed. This accountability and tracking function allows you to monitor the picking efficiency across picking resources as well as provides you with a graphical overview of the current picking activities.

PICKING

VERI-PACK

This module allows you to check and pack the goods into parcels or pallets for shipment. Through barcode scanning this module eliminates picking error by verifying the quantity picked against quantity ordered. It will also filter and alert if the wrong SKU is picked. This module will also allow you to release and deliver a partial shipment for an order with proper Delivery Note accountability.

SHIP PLAN
Van 1, Sector 3, 15 drops, 49 parcels

This module allows you to plan and schedule your deliveries. Using the ship plan wizard, you can select orders that are already picked and packed to be built into the delivery plan. If you build a plan based on the delivery route, you can then generate the Shipment Diary that will be the basis for the loading of the vehicle as well as a drop-point plan for the driver to use as a guide.

Housekeeping

MOVE

This module allows you to move goods from one location to another location located within the same site. Location profile is verified before allowing a move to be transacted. You can also move goods across transport units as and when you perform location consolidation.

TRANSFER

HOLD
Batch Recall X02-202, Put On Hold

This module allows you to put goods on hold based on external or internal instruction. Using the hold wizard, you can select the entries to hold. Once held, the goods will not be available for any other warehouse transactions until is specifically un-hold.

REPLENISH
Replenish from 7FA-30-92 ® 7GA-01-01

This module works in conjunction with the pick-faces that are setup in the SKU module. The minimum and maximum quantities configured at the SKU UOM level allows the system to accurately suggest replenish quantities from secondary locations based on the configured replenishment logic.

Audit

ADJUSTMENT

This module allows you to increase or decrease the stock balance of an SKU down to the lot attribute level. Common reasons for doing stock adjustments are results of stock count, exception errors or write-off.

COUNT

This module allows you to plan, schedule and conduct the inventory count exercise. Via the count wizard, you can select the entries based on locations, SKUs or movements, and compile them for counting. All count lines can be assigned, tracked and managed at a line level. This module supports multiple recounts.

This module allows you to raise and control a kitting request from a single source. The kitting request controls the picking of the component items as well as the management of finished product receipt and residual returns.

GRAPHLET
Birds-Eye View!

This module allows key warehouse statistics and activities to be viewed in a graphical format. The graphlets will allow you to plan and make your decisions based on exceptions and trends.

Mobility Suite

All key modules in the system can be accessed via wireless PDA. This enables data to be captured online in a paperless manner at the source of the activity. The entire workforce can be mobile, acting upon system directed instructions.

SMS

This service can be implemented interactively such as providing the phone with the ability to poll the system for specific information on stocks availability, order status or to confirm a delivery status in the form of Proof of Delivery.

This module holds the fuel consumption for each equipment. This provides visibilty and traceability of consumption pattern and cost analysis.

This module keeps track of which equipment is operationally available and the duration and reasons if they are non-operational. With this module, Customer Service Officer, Salesman and Controller are able to see ahead and plan how the available fleet size should be untilized.

LOCATION ANALYSIS

This module manages the last-known-location as well as a historical list of the movement for each equipment. This module will allow Controllers to locate and instruct the driver where to pickup the right type of chassis.

Job Management

JOB REGISTRATION
Pick Up Point and Drop off Point!

This module is the main screen for CSO to register new job instructions. Only registered jobs can progress to trip planning and invoicing. This approach ensures that all jobs are formalized and tracked in a systematic manner. Enquiries of a given job is centralized, consistent and up-to-date.

TRIP ASSIGNMENT
Job, Driver and Vehicle Type Marriage

This module allows the Controller to interact jobs and trips in a user-friendly manner. All jobs registered by the CSO are automatically released to the Controllers eWorkbench for assignement and deployment. The system automatically includes and alerts jobs that are non assigned so that the Controllers can take the necessary actions.

TRIP MONITOR
Where is Container CT1238?

This module allows the Controller to quickly follow-up on jobs that requires immediate attention. For example, the Controller can start a tab to track all outstanding Return-Empty containers. Using the same monitor, CSO can instruct the Controller on the latest instructions received by the Customer regarding container status.

INVOICING
Show me my money!

This module is integrated to the Job Registration module and Trip Assigment & Deployment modules. Once all trips for a particular job are completed, the CSO can send this job for invoicing. All information entered as a result of job execution are as accurate as they can be because the same set of information were communicated to the drivers and customers.

View and analyze resource performance

Each personnel and equipment carry a scorecard that comprises of statistics compiled from the above transactional modules. The statistics can be presented and analyzed in a 13-month rolling-cycle for month-to-month comparisons.
